In 2018, I needed a change of jobs to one with greener pastures. I therefore embarked on searching for a new job by putting out lots of applications to several companies. To my disappointment, I did not receive any responses as I had hoped. I thought to myself, “these applications must either be getting lost in the wind or are being shredded without a read.” I became very disappointed and discouraged that I cried out to God for favor and success in my endeavors but it also seemed like God was silent. I shared my prayer request with some friends and colleagues in Christ, asked them to believe with me; and later I rested in faith.
Time had passed when one of my friends in Christ approached me and said, “A Job is going to seek you.” Instead of being excited, I was left questioning, wondering how that is even possible because it had to be the other way round. Time passed again and on this day, a colleague at work, approached me about a job offer from a company she had been frequenting for business. In doing so, she became friends with the Human Resource Manager who requested her to recommend someone urgently; as they needed the person to start immediately. To cut the long story short, God worked out everything in my favor, that is, the interviews, my resignation and my starting a new job in 2019, at such a very short notice. God surely hears our prayers and he is faithful to answer in his timing and his way
