TESTIMONY

My name is Nasreen, and I have the joy of being a part of the Pakistan Gospel Assemblies in Lahore, where I serve under the care of Pastor Syman W. Johnson.

Years ago, I experienced the deep pain of divorce, a chapter of life that left me lonely and broken. I found myself at a crossroads—unsure of the future, but certain of one thing: I wanted to find peace in the presence of the Lord. I made a life-defining decision to remain single and serve God with all my heart.

After ten years, the Lord placed a new calling on my heart—to become a mother through adoption. I brought home a baby girl and named her Anney. From that moment, my life took on a new purpose. Though we lived in a rented house and faced many financial challenges, I committed myself fully to raising Anney with love, faith, and integrity.

To support us, I started working and entrusted all my needs to the Lord. Through the years, He never failed me. By His grace, Anney completed school, enrolled in college, and then moved on to university. I continued working to support her dreams and education.

Today, I am overjoyed and humbled to share that Anney is now a Chartered Accountant. She is a wise, hardworking, and a God-fearing young woman. We now work side by side, and I continue to see God’s faithfulness in every step of our journey.

This testimony is not about my strength, but about the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, who turned my sorrow into joy, and my loneliness into a life filled with purpose. Anney is not just my daughter—she is my blessing, my answered prayer, and my whole life.

I give all glory to God, and I pray that my story encourages other women to trust in the Lord’s plan, even in the midst of pain. Truly, He is the God who restores.
