TESTIMONY
Praise the Lord, brethren. My name is John Okello, and I thank God for saving my life and changing my heart.
I grew up in Jinja, but for many years I lived far from God. I was involved in drinking, fighting, and bad company. I did not care about church or prayer, and many people in my village had already lost hope in me. My life was full of confusion, and I had no peace at all.
One evening, while returning home from a bar, I passed by a church crusade and heard the preacher speaking about repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. The words touched my heart deeply. He said that no matter how far someone has gone in sin, God can still forgive and restore them. That message stayed with me the whole night.
The next day, I went back to the church and gave my life to Christ. I confessed my sins and asked God to change me. From that moment, I felt a peace I had never experienced before. Slowly, I left alcohol, stopped moving with bad friends, and started living a new life.
Today, I serve faithfully in church and encourage other young people not to give up on God. My family relationships have been restored, and people who knew my old life can now see the transformation God has done in me.
I testify today that salvation is real, and Jesus Christ still changes lives. To God be all the glory forever and ever. Amen.
