TESTIMONY
I want to share my testimony of how the Lord transformed my life. After completing my college studies, I became very discouraged and upset because I was unable to find a job in Lahore. Day after day, I searched for opportunities, but nothing worked out. Eventually, I grew tired and hopeless. I began spending most of my time in gaming cafés and with friends. During that period, I fell into the addictions of smoking and alcohol. These habits affected my health, my fitness, and my overall life.
At the same time, I had a love for music. My desire was to learn instruments, and in that season—even while trapped in addiction—I learned to play tabla [percussion instrument] and harmonium [key board like instrument] very well. Unfortunately, I used these talents in the wrong places, playing at parties and gatherings while drinking with friends.
Two years ago, I had a life-changing encounter when I met Pastor Hanook. The first time he met me, I was drunk. But he met me again a week later and began to share with me about the Bible, God’s Word, and the message of Jesus Christ. Through his guidance, prayers, and encouragement, my life began to change completely.
By the grace of God, today I am free from all addictions. I now serve the Lord as the Choir Leader in my church, using my musical talents to glorify Him. In addition, God has also blessed me with a good job and a renewed life.
All glory, honor, and praise belong to our Lord Jesus Christ, who lifted me out of addiction and gave me a new purpose.
