TESTIMONY
I thank God for His boundless mercy towards me. Brethren, my family and I were destitute; our living conditions were deplorable, and our toilet was a hazard. I'm testifying because God saved my life. One day, I had a horrific accident – I fell into the pit latrine. The structure collapsed, and I was trapped, suspended by my arms, with my legs dangling in the filth. I cried out for help, but no one came. In that moment, I resigned myself to fate, expecting the worst.
But God had other plans. A stranger, an angel in disguise, appeared and rescued me. I'm not sure what brought them to the scene, maybe they were answering nature's call, but I'm convinced it was divine intervention. As they pulled me out, I was traumatized and lost my grip on reality. God's mercy is unfathomable – He used that stranger to save me from a gruesome death.
God has blessed my family, and my mother, who's a pillar of strength, built a school and taught us the importance of serving Him. I'm eternally grateful, and I love God with every fiber of my being for sparing my life.
