TESTIMONY
My name is Najibu Special. I want to share my testimony on how God has been good to me. I am born in polygamous family and am the seventh son of my mother. My parents are Muslims, and we all grew up going to the mosque, and besides that, my father is a really powerful witch doctor, so we all grew up being initiated into all these customs.
I couldn't believe that one day I would leave my father's religion and culture. However, to cut a long story short, a time came when everything turned around for my father. He couldn't manage to sustain and take care of the big polygamous family.
Every mother now started to care for her children. It was a tough moment; getting what to eat was not easy for our mother, and to make matters worse, I was entering my S.4 (Final O-level year) for my studies.
Everything turned bad for me, and I missed attending school for two terms. I bless the Lord because someone came to my father after seeing the situation at home and requested to be my guardian for my studies.
My father just accepted because they were removing a burden from him. It's not easy for Muslims to send their children to a born-again Christian school for studies, but my father accepted, and now I have finished S.4, and this year I am joining S.5 at Global High School.
I thank God that I got saved, and my life has not been the same ever since I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. And whenever I go back for my holidays, I always tell my father how good Jesus Christ is, and I always pray to God who saved me to save my father and the entire family. Glory be to God. Amen.
